We respect and protect the personal information provided by players through the tournament registration form.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information required to register and communicate with participants, including:

  • name, date of birth, gender, nationality and country represented;
  • national federation, club and BWF ID, where applicable;
  • email address and telephone or WhatsApp number;
  • selected events, age categories and partner information;
  • limited information about accompanying persons, where voluntarily provided.

2. How We Use the Information

Your information is used only to receive and review your entry, check eligibility, communicate with you, prepare entries, draws, schedules and results, and organise any accommodation or transfer service specifically requested by you.

3. Access and Disclosure

The full information submitted through the form is not public and cannot be viewed by other players or website visitors. Access is limited to authorised members of the tournament organising team and the technical administrators responsible for the secure operation of the website and form.

Personal information is not sold, rented, used for unrelated advertising, or disclosed to unrelated third parties.

Where strictly necessary for the organisation of the tournament, limited information may be provided to the Hellenic Badminton Federation, BWF or Badminton Europe under the applicable competition regulations, or to the official hotel or transport provider when the participant has requested the relevant service.

Only names, country or federation, event entries, draws, schedules and results may be published as part of the normal sporting record of the tournament. Contact details, dates of birth and the full registration form are not published.

4. Photography and Video

Photographs and video may be taken during the tournament and may be used to report on and promote the event and the sport, including on websites, social media and press material.

A participant who does not wish their image to be used for promotional purposes must inform the organisers in writing before the start of the tournament.

5. Storage and Protection

Personal information is stored securely and kept only for as long as necessary to manage the tournament and meet any applicable legal or administrative requirements.

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse of the information.

6. Your Rights

Participants may request access to their personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where legally permitted, restriction of processing, or object to certain uses of their information.
